Cape Town

Ocean on one side, mountains on the other, and some of the most beautiful road on earth threaded between them. A week riding out of the Mother City takes in the passes, the coastline and the winelands, with a great meal and a still bed waiting at the end of every day.

A Week In The Mother City

Cape Town gives you range most places cannot. You climb Table Mountain flanks in the morning, trace the Atlantic on Chapman's Peak by midday, and finish with a glass of something local in the oldest winelands in the country. The riding is serious when you want it and gentle when you don't, and the scenery never lets up.

01

Arrival & The City Bowl

Settle in, fit the bikes, and spin an easy loop around Signal Hill and the harbour to shake off the travel. An early evening briefing over dinner sets up the week.

02

Table Mountain & The Peninsula

Up and over Kloof Nek, then south along the Atlantic seaboard through Camps Bay and Llandudno into Hout Bay. The warm up that happens to be world famous.

03

Chapman's Peak & Cape Point

The signature day. Chapman's Peak Drive carved into the cliff, then on to the Cape of Good Hope and the long quiet run back up the False Bay coast.

04

Into The Winelands

East to Constantia and beyond, trading coast for vineyards. Rolling farm roads, oak lined lanes, and a long lunch earned properly.

05

The Boland Passes

The big mountain day. Franschhoek and the surrounding passes deliver the sort of climbing you came for, with the reward of the view from the top.

06

Coast Home

A final relaxed ride back toward the city, ending where it started. Bikes cleaned, stories told, dinner to close the week.
